Terms of Service Privacy Policy Service Level Agreement

By accessing or using LoafHosts services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Interpretation

Capitalised words have the meanings defined below. Definitions apply equally in the singular and the plural.

2. Accuracy of information

Information on the site may occasionally contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions related to promotions, pricing, or product details. We reserve the right to correct errors and to update or cancel orders if any related information is inaccurate, including after submission. We do not commit to updating information except where required by law. A "last updated" date on the site does not imply that all content has been refreshed.

3. Service description

LoafHosts provides game-server hosting and dedicated servers, with a particular focus on Arma Reforger. We also support a range of other titles including Minecraft, Rust, 7 Days to Die, Palworld, Counter-Strike 2, and Project Zomboid.

4. Account registration and responsibilities

To use our services you must register an account with accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

5. Payments, billing, and refunds

Services are billed in advance, monthly by default. Payment is due on receipt of invoice. Late or missed payments may result in suspension or termination. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as expressly granted by our refund policy.

  • Game servers: 7-day money-back guarantee.
  • Dedicated servers: 3-day money-back guarantee.

Donations made to other clients through our platform are non-refundable. The use of donated credit is at the recipient's discretion. Donors cannot request refunds, and clients cannot request refunds on behalf of donors.

5a. Refund request process

Submit refund requests through one of:

  • Your billing area at hub.loafhosts.com/billing.
  • Our Discord server at discord.gg/loafhosts.

Requests received through these channels will be reviewed against the money-back-guarantee window above.

6. Chargeback policy

If a customer initiates a chargeback or payment dispute with their bank or payment provider before contacting us through our official refund channels, the following will apply:

  • The chargeback will be contested and denied.
  • A strike will be recorded on the customer's billing account.
  • After three strikes the customer will be permanently banned from LoafHosts services.

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly to resolve billing concerns. We are committed to fair resolutions for genuine issues.

7. Service level agreement

We target 99.9% uptime for all hosting services. If we miss this target, you may be eligible for service credits as described in our SLA. Planned maintenance is excluded from uptime calculations.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use our services for any unlawful purpose, or in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our infrastructure. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Hosting illegal content or engaging in illegal activity.
  • Distributing malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
  • Engaging in DDoS attacks or other network abuse.
  • Infringing intellectual-property rights.
  • Spam or unsolicited bulk communication.
  • Mining cryptocurrency without our explicit permission.
  • Operating proxy or VPN services without authorisation.
  • Hosting adult content on shared infrastructure.

9. Data protection and privacy

We are committed to protecting your privacy and personal data. See our Privacy Policy for full detail on how we collect, use, and protect data. We comply with applicable data-protection law.

10. Backups and data recovery

We perform regular backups of our infrastructure, but you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of customer data. We are not liable for data loss, and restoration may be subject to additional fees. We strongly recommend regular off-site backups of anything you cannot afford to lose.

11. Service modifications and availability

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes when possible. Services may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate services immediately, without notice, if you violate these Terms, fail to pay, or harm our network or other customers. Either party may terminate at any time, with or without cause. On termination your access ends and any outstanding fees become immediately due.

Termination timeline for non-payment:

  • Services may be suspended after 7 days of non-payment.
  • Services may be terminated after 10 days of suspension (17 days total).
  • Data may be permanently deleted after termination.

13. Limitation of liability

LoafHosts shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, or use — incurred by you or any third party. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the services in the 12 months preceding the claim.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LoafHosts, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim, damage, loss, or expense arising from your use of our services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party right.

15. Intellectual property

All content, trademarks, and intellectual property on our website and services remain the property of LoafHosts or their respective owners. You may not use our intellectual property without explicit written permission.

16. Force majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, labour disputes, government action, or upstream network failures.

17. Dispute resolution

Disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

18. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the appropriate courts of Ohio.

19. Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. The invalid provision shall be replaced with a valid provision that most closely reflects the original intent.

20. Entire agreement and modifications

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices we publish, constitute the entire agreement between you and LoafHosts. We may modify these Terms by posting an updated version on the site; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
